I am really striving to be more focused this year!

I have spent sometime thinking about how I want to proceed with my creative adventures. So let me share my accomplishments and setbacks with those who care to listen....lol
I recently reorganized my studio, it is now more efficient.

I rearranged my desk in what seems to be a little more user friendly.

I relocated the computer to the far right so that I can have my invoices and files all in one place and I dont have to worry about it getting in the way of my current projects.
I can now use the shelf to hold a great deal of my bead stash - the best part is that it will pull  out for easy  access. Yeah!!!

I have been working in the studio as much as on the studio. I have been a part of the Year in Jewelry project:

And I have been keeping up with it so far.  It is week three and I have almost finished my third project.  I will share it after I have posted it in the group.
    Week 1 Project was "Renewal"
Nothing signifies "Renewal" to me morethan nature!
    Week 2 Project was "Grace"
To me a Rose is the epitome of "Grace"
You will have to come back by to see Week 3 submission unless you are a part of the group.
    Until Next time....

    ~Gotta Start Somewhere~

    Where to start?--

Seems like a normal question, but given the fact that it has been a couple of valuable years since I have had full time Internet access, it makes this small question almost paralyzing.

Do try to catch up on some of the newest social media?
Do I post pictures of my latest projects?

It is hard to decide what should take priority and what can wait.  Looking at some of my favorite sites, sometimes makes me wonder how they get every thing done.  I am good to check email, and read the latest posts on Facebook and Twitter, not to mention checking Pintrest and the online shops I have.

I have tried to use the list method; but it gets unmanageably long.  I think I will do a little of everything and should get caught up by the time I am 110 years old...

    Seriously though, someone once said:
"The only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time." -author unknown

So I will pick up a fork and just pick a spot and start.  I can ration the time I have between the to-do list and the wanna do list.  I figure I will eventually get it worked into a routine which will make me look like I know what I am doing and I will actually get something done.

We will see how this goes.  I will be updating my blog and trying to make it actually relevant to my craft.  One byte at a time.

    New Year and New Projects!

Well, It is the beginging of the new year and we all make those resolutions. I am not any better than the rest of us are at keeping them. I hope this year will be different. I am in the process of getting reorganized. I tend to work in impossible conditions. My work place gets cluttered with what ever project am working on at the moment and then I start another one and tend to have about five different projects going at the same time. I have pictures to prove it!

I have decided to start from scratch! I emptied all of my goodies out on to the work table and started to put things in a more organized spots. In the process I have been able to make some improvements to my studio.
